Old

liverpool. they have reboost my liking for them for the following reasons :
  • new coach
  • entertaining and superb performance by the newbies - louis suarez and andy caroll
  • they beat Chelsea and Torres on his debut game for chelsea and against former club:D
  • They BEAT Man U with a hatrick! :D:D
  • The have replaced Carlsberg with Standard Chartered!! :D:D:D
boleh la beli kan harris official jersey.

Breastfeeding.

My body is very textbook physiological speaking. at least for pre and post delivery changes. textbook says contraception via exclusive breastfeeding is only effective up to  6 months, and true enough, my ovulation cycle restarted at 6 months post delivery- the last being when I conceived Harris of course. kinda miss the menstruation free days.
Alhamdulillah, up to now Harris has never had to taste any formula milk , even after weaning.
talk about food , menu du jour for harris would be... Apple puree with milked mashed potato!

WC 2010

i think it would be almost sinful if i didn't blog anything about the world cup 2010. as far as this blog is concern, it is compulsory!

I am, in general, entertained by the world cup tournament. congratulation Sepp Blatter. From the (selected) matches to their coverage of south africa's cities and even the world cup theme song! ;-)
the opening goal by the south african chap was fantastic ( eventhough they eventually lost the match). I was by default rooting for France to win the World cup , ignoring my already-there instinct that they wouldn't make it far considering their sloppy World Cup qualifying campaign. the french fiasco sort made it worst. they deserved to be at the bottom of the group. the only bright thing was they finally able to get rid of Domenech.

I am never a fan of Brazil and Argentina therefore couldn't be more excited to see them trashed out by their exuberant opponents. Brazil has always been too.. religious, to the point that i became nauseated seeing their post-scoring dramas. that was not the only issue i have against them but it was quite a significant one for sure, hehe. As for Argentina, Maradona has been more entertaining to watch than Messi who was basically outshone by every other Argentinian players. But it is quite a norm in a tournament such as this, where by the expected star players failed to perform up to our expectation and ended up in a disgraceful end. Rooney, Kaka, that-S.O.B - Ronaldo joined the wagon too :P Torres and Van Persie were a bit lucky as they still could progress to the finale as a team, even though they were just as dim-lit as the previously mentioned.

perhaps, the team ( and coach) that enlightened the 2010 WC the most was Germany. Their games were extremely energetic and delightful. They shone as a team rather than as individual. almost all of them played the part. Good Job Joachim Loew. BTW, i like his sense of fashion and style. Too bad they had to face Spain in the semi. i was hoping that particular match to be a final instead.

Finally, the final showdown - Espana vs Nederland . An ill tempered and foul-filled match ( mainly produced by the Dutch). Spain in a way managed to play it cool though i have to admit they were silently provocative as well. They displayed a beautiful passing game and in the end, i think they are the deserved winner. It was a dramatic ending and very much entertaining still despite the lack of goals. I'm glad Arjen Robben got the yellow card for his relentless complaint ( really he pissed me ( and the referee) off . never like that guy. cheater).

Farewell Africa waka waka :-)

* i think my baby is bound to be a football fan as well. He would just be kicking my belly like nobody business while mommy watching and cheering matches:P

One of the parts I love the most about my wedding is the handmade  dipped flowers. Beautifully crafted by 2 aunts in-law of mine. credit to nuni for these lovely shots.

as for this one, not that i like the chandelier so much, i just love the shot from this angle.  good job nuni!
Life is glitteringly wonderful for me at this moment. i know it's gonna be hard after a few months; once i commence housemanship, once the distance takes place and all.. mais  que serra serra . i chose it to be this way, so be it. whatever it may be.
Liverpool delivered a stunning late performance in last night's match against Boro. Gerrard and caragher were the heroes. Sorry Torres, (for once) it wasn't meant to be your night :p

you'll never walk alone;-)

last weekend main futsal for college. igtkan indoor, sekali open court la plak. i look like a lobster panggang now. muka merah cam malar rash.x lame lagi ceklat. duh!

senior futsal team was really spectacular. junior team too actually. senior team punye skill and control bagus. where as junior team stamina kuat and they played with speed.congrats to both teams. our team? hehehe i was quite disappointed really. i feel like we played better during practice matches. if only time could be rewinded... sigh. pas ni xde da kot chance untuk join tournament2 ni. doktor2 pompuan cm x main je futsal. n x tau la suami bg ke x nnt. harap2 klu ade tournament die bg la:P i really enjoy playing it. more than netball or any other girlish sports... one thing for sure, ukhwah senior year mmg jadi best giler la akhir2 ni. at least that's how i feel. most of my colleagues are really really nice and kind hearted types. well, there are a few shallow and vain and superficial types here and there but as far as my happiness is concerned, they are quite irrelevant really.

james, my current group mate told me about the 'steven gerrard songs' the other day. "i don't really like Liverpool but i like their songs a lot!" so said the Die Hard AC fan i.e Kaka's idoliser :P blame him, i keep on humming these two songs these days..

(in que serra serra tune)
steve gerrard gerrard
he kicks the ball 40 yards
he's better than fat lampard
steve gerrard gerrard

(in dennis van hauten's can't take my eyes off you tune;) )
Oh Steven Gerrard
Because he hates Man U
Oh Steven Gerrard
He hates the Blue shite too
Oh Steven Gerrard
You’re a Red through and through

ok im delving quite deep into football mode now. haha.

ps ; risau lak byk mende x settle lg. wedding date dah dekat...

another win, another day.. the same way

you know. when liverpool goes final, it is meant to be classically dramatic. they aren't the best team in term of physical talents and tactic, but they do have one hell of brilliant team spirit. gerrard is legendary. and yes, he deserves the cup more than anyone else does!! when all hopes were seemingly gone, he still had the magical courage to fire the ball into the net with his half-cramp limping leg! just in time to drag the game into the extra time as well as diminishing the hammers's dream to lift their first ever FA cup trophy, which was just minutes away to be realised. Perhaps we may after all call these sort of finals as the 'liverpool phenomenon'. i guess, whenever we see matches with such classical comeback in the future, we may actually exclaim sumthing like ; "hey, they are doing Liverpool!"

hihihih.. KOP, im soo proud to be your fan heheh

FROM ZERO TO HERO!!

WE ARE THE CHAMPION!!

they shocked us with that first-minute goal. they mocked us with the second, and they almost killed our spirit with the third blast into the net.The ship was wrecked..but had not sunk yet..not so fast Milan. Why? because we own the world's number one master of tactic ~ none other than that 'bang!!' booster Benitez.
2nd half - change in formation - with didi hamman subtituting steve finnan - proved to be working out very well particularly in that amazing 6 minutes (or perhaps you prefer the term '6 minutes of madness' as ancelotti did) - believing that their mission impossible would work, liverpool players ensured their almost-frustated fans a dramatic comeback. they fought hard, and they fought fast.captain Gerrard set up the canon, smicer ignited the fire and alonso launched the ball- all 3 in 6 magical minutes..
the second penalty shoot-out of the week seemed to prefer us over them.jerzy dudek's choreoform movement sure made milan's shooters's eyes spinning.. way to go liverpool!!!
you deserve your 5th eoropean title =)%
