Cherie's kitchen

above wasn't my breakfast.
that's my dinner meal hehe.
3 slices of 'home-made' garlic
last week i went to a friend house on invitation for dinner. that's where i learned to make a garlic bread without using a garlic spread. she did it on French Baguettes ( which is more appropriate than Gardenia bread slices), but then memikirkan the nature of the malaysian-made french bagutte will usually be super elastic after a few days, malas la nk beli. so i altered the recipe a bit hehe. i wiped a garlic on top before spreading the butter and toasting the bread. finir!
sok (atau hari2 selepas esok) nak invent steamed chicken with parsley and yogurt and spices of all sorts. tgk lah kalau menjadi resepi sendiri ni. x tgk mesra dot net punye :P:P:P
i am yet to come to term with Ledger's death. if it was Tom Cruise i wouldn't mind a slightest , coz he sucks at acting plus i ve had enough of his never ending Scientology rantings. but Heath was so good an actor. poor matilda, his 2 year old daughter. poor us, for the lost of all the future great movies which now are the would-have-beens as they followed him to the grave.
The fall of a Legend
Heath Ledger is dead.
that Heath is dead.
Legend Ledger is deadddd.

he was found dead in his Manhattan apartment with pills in the vicinity. he could have OD-ied himself probably. but why? he was such a great A class Hollywood actor around. he is one of my favourite actors. i would watch all his movies if i saw one. ( well except for BrokeBack Mountain - curious but my homophobic superego sort of restrains me from watching it. but still... hehe) :p
he shot to fame through the most remembered teen flick movie ; Ten Things I hate About You. i love that part where he sang 'cant take my eyes off you' to win Julia style'sbet love. ohhh i would remember that scene forever.
Gosh he made so many great moviesss. A Knight's Tales. The Patriot. Casanova. brokeback mountain . Ned Kelly. latest- Batman as Joker. he's too young to go. when he could have done so much more. haihhh berkurang la movie y suke ditengok pasni huhu.
heath ledger is australian by the way. another aussie Daniel John split with his wife Natalie Imbruglia recently. Sad news for the aussies these days yeah. but at least your Nicole Kidman is pregnant ( at last).

c'est lui que je veux
a lot of things have been on my mind currently. im very close to panic really.
i wish, i wish , i wish.
let's hope Allah hear and grant my wish.
otherwise, my heart will shatter like crystal glass hitting hard ground.
final year is torturing so far. busy. panic. depressed over my own incompetence. at this point, i'm so no a supposed houseman material. i must not fail. otherwise my heart will break. just like the crystal glass hitting the hard ground.

troubled pakis
Bhutto Assassinated.
Shocking but not unexpected.
i'm not an expert in Pakistan Politic. i drew my conclusion based on the news i heard everyday and my personal encounters with Pakistanis. to me they are volatile in nature, poor in judgment, minimal in tolerance, severely corrupt, manipulative, parasited by the extremism bigots and mostly intellectually deprived. before you oppose my view, please justify all the riots, bombings, unsettled domestic conflicts, dubious US relationship, and fanatical act of idolising corrupted politicians.
who killed her?
one (or more) of these three ;
Bin Laden (representing the deviated extremists) , Musharraf ( aka the fellow local politicians) , or Bush ( i.e. the west)
ironically, when one of the three do something to benefit them, it will ALWAYS benefit the other two as well. so, it doesnt matter much who did it. Perhaps a little bit tough for Musharraf, despite his victory to invalidate the power-sharing scheme ( now that the future sharer dead) , i wonder how is he going to handle the inevitable violences that knocking his door at this very moment.
i must admit things are much complex and murkier than my simple conclusion. but then again, you've gotta agree that something is very not right in that community structures ,which is phenotyped by their failure to settle down peacefully ever since the separation from India.
well, kindly ponder the rest..
alhamdulillah negaraku aman lagi.. seriously, praise be to Allah for the peace i enjoy.

inhumane humanity
An Iranian man has been hanged for rape despite his alleged victims withdrawing their accusation and a judicial decree quashing his death sentence.
Makwan Mouloudzadeh, 20, had been found guilty of raping three teenage boys when he was 13 years old. - bbc
i don't know if this is just one of the western propagandas to catalyse their invasion plan. but if it did happen.. what an outrageous act!! he was a child when he committed the crime for god's sake. thirteen is too young an age to understand the impact of their doings. by God ,how did they justify that verdict? where did they dig that ancient law? it definitely not God's! i cant believe how people can be so low and heartless and plain cruel. hanging that boy was 1000 times a crime than his so called 'sodomising' act. May Allah bless his young soul.

will he or won't they?

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho would consider the England job if offered it by the Football Association, insists the Portuguese's personal advisor. 'If he were approached he'd consider it, discuss it, negotiate and present his own ideas,' confirmed Eladio Parames. - soccernet
pleaseeeee pleaseeeee come back jose! football is somewhat dull without you. this man is your hope, English!

a mon cher
I need you like water, like breath, like rain
I need you like mercy from Heaven's gate
There's a freedom in your arms, that carries me through
I need you
You're the hope that moves me to courage again
You're the love that rescues me
When the cold winds rage
And it's so amazin' 'cause that's just how you are
And I can't turn back now
'cause you've brought me too far
and thus, i need you
=)

REDS BREAKS!!
u know what's amazing about Liverpool FC?
when they really wanna do it, the do it big. as in BIG big. to the point whereby history would never forget about it.
that's what happen in champion's league final in istanbul.
that's what happen in a couple of Chelsea matches.
and that's what happen yesterday in Anfield.
who would have guessed an 8-nil win when they were at a brink of being knocked out from the Europe's most prestigious league? huhu. like soccernet put it; it was a 'make or break' clash. they opted for both fates in the end. they made it through , and they broke the champions league's all-time scoring record. wuhuhuhuhu.
liverpool is such a drama queen i know. but a really entertaining one. and that's one of the reasons why i love them!
congratulation !!! do it more often ;-)

love it, lick it :)
yesterday, i fatefully reunited via online with my lower form's best buddy. it's been years since i last heard from her. the last time we met was summer 2004. there was so much to talk about. will catch with you again sometime soon.
and right after that ( well there was super brief moment of overlap ) , i had another mutual chat with another mutual best friend. the one i was close to since my upper form years and until now. it just that now, we are in different career paths, distanced by hundred miles physically which require sacrifice from the need of regular meet-ups and girl-talks moments. time flies, we grow.. i have a mild phobia of getting old huhu.
my whole point is.. i feel wonderful. and things like this always retrieve nostalgias. the two of you made me smile at the end of the day literally :)
i am 97% percent in silverchair mode this week as i am adapting to young modern album. already in love with 3 or 4 songs. i guess they'd never really get me as they did in diorama and neon ballroom.. but it wasn't really that bad anyway. for instance, thieving bird/strange behaviour ( song sandwiched between song) was really creative.
i quite disapprove daniel's new image though. can't help it. i mean, i don't mind he chose to rubbish the pretty boy image and transformed to a more manly look, but the nipple piercings and increasing amount of body tattoos somehow disgust me. i really shouldn't care rite hehe. pe hal la laki imbruglia ni. regarding the explicit body form transformation, I'm not ruling out steroid from the equation just yet huhu.
papehal pun, i love their music! unique sound and words ( even though sometimes i feel like the lyrics were disarticulated and filled with garbage metaphors haha) .. but most of the time, i was really REALLY REALLY amazed by it.
and oh, the video below is like the best live version of 'miss you love' available in youtube. this concert must have been held 5-6 years back. judging by daniel's look, this vid probably was recorded in neon-ball room era. i like it even better than the studio version actually. and i now starts singing/humming the song like this live version tune too hihi.
i admire the lyric but i don't and never want to relate to it. it's not the way i want to love and be loved huhu. after reading my craps all these years, you must have known i'm a hopeless romantic fool at heart hehe.
enough for tonight. enjoy the video. don't bother watching from minute 3.40 onwards.

all about you
i used to love this song so much and all i can think of then was him. i can't thank God enough that he's mine now:) inshaallah.
i love rock and i love cheesy sweet ballad like this too. they're like totally two different worlds. I think I'm a bit weird but hey at least ( i hope) i'm not boring. hehe. perasannya.

total crap
how come i didn't know??????
how come??
silverchair has an album out after diorama. and hell i just knew it after reading about an aussie award news!
what about daniel john's arthritic fingers? i really hope he didn't get that permanent swan-neck, boteneire deformities and whatnot. what a waste of an unusual talent. i think i like silverchhair coz they are different and very original( at least that's how i believe them to be coz their music to me is one of a kind.)

at the moment I'm more gravitated toward the 'now playing' song below, than the rest of the tracks in the album.
welcome back silverchair=)
ouch i'm supposed to study paed cardiovascular system instead of this!!

am listening to their tracks now. but i still didnt get the vibe. perhaps this one is not as good as Diorama. that album was phenomenal. superb.
daniel johns seems to have abolished completely his famous boyish look. hmm
